Patriots Week 6 injury report: Mac Jones among nine starters limited

Will this be the week New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones returns from his ankle injury?

That's a question that likely won't be answered until the weekend as Jones was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. However, it's worth noting ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports he has a "decent chance" to play against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.

Jones was among nine starters listed as limited on the Patriots' first injury report of the week. Running back Damien Harris, who's expected to miss multiple games with a hamstring injury, also was limited along with cornerbacks Jonathan Jones and Jalen Mills, wide receivers Nelson Agholor and Jakobi Meyers, center David Andrews, defensive end Lawrence Guy, and tight end Jonnu Smith.

The Browns had five non-participants in their Wednesday practice and three players limited. Star defensive end Myles Garrett, still recovering from a car accident in which he suffered minor injuries, was in the latter category.
