The New England Patriots are 8-0, but some critics still aren't willing to give them a ton of praise because of their weak schedule in the first half of the season. New England's opponents through eight games had a lackluster .250 combined win percentage entering Week 9.
Well, the defending Super Bowl champions' schedule is about to get much tougher over the next five weeks, and that begins Sunday night with a much-anticipated matchup with the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens lead the AFC North with a 5-2 record and sit in the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff race. Second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson -- a legitimate NFL MVP candidate -- is causing all sorts of problems for opposing defenses with his ability to pick up huge chunks of yards on the ground. The Patriots must contain this part of Jackson's unique skill set if they're going to leave Baltimore with their unbeaten record intact.
The Patriots have won three games (and tallied eight interceptions) this season against quarterbacks from the 2018 NFL draft class -- will Jackson be the next one to lose to Bill Belichick's red-hot defense?
