Tom Brady in his 20th NFL season, but that hasn’t stopped people from buying merchandise featuring the New England Patriots quarterback in huge numbers.

The NFLPA recently released a list of the top selling players from March 1 through Aug. 31 in regards to officially licensed products, and Brady led everyone.

Here’s the top 15:

  1. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
  2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
  3. Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns
  4. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns
  5. Khalil Mack, LB, Chicago Bears
  6. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
  7. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
  8. Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
  9. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
  10. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
  11. Mitch Trubisky, QB, Chicago Bears
  12. Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
  13. Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints
  14. Sam Darnold, QB, New York Jets
  15. Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks

Brady’s ability to consistently move products, especially jerseys, is quite impressive. Even as more and more exciting young players enter the league and build large fan support, the six-time Super Bowl champion continues to rank as the league’s most popular player.

In fact, Brady was ranked as the league’s most marketable player in a survey released over the summer that polled marketing executives, the media and others. Brady, despite being 42 years old, still is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and has helped lead the Patriots to a 7-0 record this season.

The Cleveland Browns were one of three teams, along with the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears, to have multiple players in the top 15 of the NFLPA’s player sales list for this period. It’ll be interesting to see if this trend of Browns popularity continues after the franchise's poor start to the regular season. The Browns entered the 2019 campaign as a popular pick for breakout team, but they have disappointed thus far with a 2-4 record.

More pain could be on the way for the Browns, who play Brady and the Patriots on the road Sunday in Week 8.
