With the exception of a pair of tight ends and some offensive line depth, the New England Patriots didn't do anything during the draft to address needs on offense.
They did, however, sign a number of undrafted free agents who could work their way onto the roster in 2020.
It wouldn't be the first time a UDFA has made an immediate impact for New England. J.C. Jackson, Jakobi Meyers, Gunner Olszewski, David Andrews, and Malcolm Butler are examples of Patriots UDFAs who have made the most of their opportunities.

One name to remember: J.J. Taylor.
For Perry, size doesn't matter when it comes to the UDFA running back out of Arizona.
J.J. Taylor is so much freakin' fun to watch. This little guy out of Arizona. As we talk about the importance of being able to turn nothing into something, he is somebody who has a little bit of lateral wiggle to him. He is somebody who gets absolutely lost behind offensive linemen then ends up squirting out on the other side of the line of scrimmage for five yards.
I'm not going to write this guy off just because he's 5-foot-5, 185 [pounds], but it's mostly just because I love watching him at Arizona as I was sort of studying this running back class. So I wouldn't be shocked if he can sort of figure his way into the mix as well, because he has some Dion Lewis qualities to him.
Also high on the acquisition of Taylor is Pro Football Focus, which called the Patriots' signing "great value" and ranked it as the sixth-best UDFA addition in the NFL.
