Few teams turn over the bottom of their roster more than the Patriots, particularly early in the season. Same goes for their practice squad.
They made another move to their 10-man unit on Tuesday, bringing in offensive lineman Jamil Douglas and releasing offensive lineman Ian Silberman in order to make room.
Douglas, who measures in at 6-foot-4, 308 pounds, was a fourth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2015. He played in all 16 games last season, making six starts (four at right guard and two at center). He has spent the majority of this season bouncing on and off of the Dolphins practice squad, though he was promoted to the active roster in late September and saw game action against the Bengals.
