Antonio Brown is reportedly threatening to retire from football if he doesn't get to use his old helmet, and Patrick Chung weighed in on the drama Saturday.
Brown has faced plenty of backlash based on the reports suggesting he'd walk away from the game he's played his entire life and makes a substantial living from for something as small as a helmet issue. Especially with the new helmet policy making sure every player wears safer models.
While there may be competitive advantages for Brown to use his old helmet, such as vision and head mobility, they simply don't outweigh the negatives of him retiring or putting himself at risk of a head injury.
As much as Brown may disagree with the league forcing a policy on its players like this, Chung response gets right to the point.
