Tom Brady looks like an MVP in the NFL playoffs, and one of the biggest reasons for that is the pass protection the New England Patriots offensive line has provided the 41-year-old quarterback.
The Pats' o-line has not surrendered a single sack of Brady through two playoff games, but what's even more impressive is the fact the veteran quarterback has been hit only once.
NFL Media's Mike Giardi tweeted Monday some crazy stats about Brady's protection in the postseason.
The Patriots will face their toughest challenge of the playoffs in Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams' fearsome pass rush. The Rams front seven is highlighted by Aaron Donald, who led the league in sacks during the regular season and arguably is the best defensive player in the world. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick last week called Donald "pretty much unblockable."
Keeping Donald away from Brady probably is the most pivotal matchup of the Super Bowl, and if the Patriots win it, a sixth Lombardi Trophy likely will be theirs to hoist at the end of the night.
