Patriots-Falcons practice participation/injury report: Valentine added to list

HOUSTON -- The Patriots completed their second practice of the week without incident, it appears. Rookie defensive lineman Vincent Valentine was added to the team's injury report with a back issue and was listed as a limited participant. Otherwise, the injury report was unchanged from Wednesday.

Valentine dealt with a back issue earlier in the year that forced him to miss Weeks 5, 6 and 7. The tackle out of Nebraska has played 32 percent of the snaps this year, helping to fill in behind fellow big-bodied linemen Alan Branch and Malcom Brown.

On the Falcons side of things, Dwight Freeney did not participate due to a calf injury. Here's Thursday's full practice participation/injury report for Super Bowl LI.
