Patriots 53-man roster projection 7.0: Loading up at wide receiver

In Phil Perry's last 53-man Patriots roster projection, Phillip Dorsett was on the chopping block while young receivers Jakobi Meyers and Braxton Berrios found their way onto the roster.

But after Thursday night's game against the Panthers, things have changed. Tom Brady's chemistry with Dorsett was apparent as the solid yet unspectacular wideout had seven catches on the night.

With questions at the position, having a trusted option for Brady is crucial, as Tom E. Curran explained Friday.

Dorsett's push for a roster spot isn't the only new development, as Brandon King reported season-ending injury opens up another spot. So how do things shake out with one preseason game left?
