Ohio State vs. Northwestern live stream: Watch Big 10 championship game online

The No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes take on the No. 21 Northwestern Wildcats in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night in a matchup that could have a profound effect on the final 2018 College Football Playoff standings.

The Buckeyes are No. 6 in the latest CFP rankings, and they need a blowout win over the Wildcats -- and some help from other teams losing, too -- to have any chance of reaching the playoff.

A couple New England Patriots players will be pulling for Ohio State, including running back Nate Ebner and defensive lineman John Simon. Ebner actually won a few hundred dollars in a bet against Patriots quarterback and former Michigan star Tom Brady last week when the Buckeyes upset the Wolverines. Since Brady entered the NFL in 2000, the Patriots have won more Super Bowl titles (five) than Michigan has wins over Ohio State (three).

Brady, Ebner and Simon are among 14 current Patriots who played at Big Ten schools, so you can bet several of New England's players will be checking out Saturday's showdown in Indianapolis.

Here's how and when to watch Ohio State vs. Northwestern online.
