The Cleveland Browns couldn't have started Sunday's game against the New England Patriots any worse.
They coughed up the ball on three consecutive first quarter possessions, including a hilariously awful interception by Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield on a shovel pass in his own backfield.

Mayfield's interception led to a Tom Brady touchdown pass to Julian Edelman that put the Patriots up 17-0 entering the second quarter. The Patriots entered Sunday's game at Gillette Stadium leading the NFL in interceptions and turnovers forced overall. Mayfield came into Week 8 with a league-leading 11 interceptions.
