Oddsmakers have pegged the New England Patriots as small road favorites for their Week 11 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
The best game of the weekend comes with plenty of intriguing storylines, too. The Patriots and Eagles last met in Super Bowl LII, which Philly won 41-33 for its first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. New England also beat Philadelphia in Super Bowl XXXIX.
The latest matchup is very important for both teams. The Patriots have a slim 1-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture. The Eagles are 5-4 and enter Week 11 tied with the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East. Winning the division probably is the only path to the playoffs for both the Eagles and Cowboys.
Here are the Week 11 lines for every game from the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. The Patriots have opened as 3.5-point favorites over the Eagles.
The Patriots are 6-3 against the spread (ATS) this season, which is one of the best ATS records in the league. The defending Super Bowl champs are 4-1 away from home, and they split their toughest road matchups (win at Buffalo, loss at Baltimore) so far. New England owns a 3-2 ATS record on the road. The Eagles are just 4-5 ATS overall and 2-2 ATS at home.
The smart side here is probably the Patriots. They rank No. 1 in points allowed per game, No. 2 in yards allowed per game and No. 2 in points scored per game. Both teams had a Week 10 bye, and it's hard to bet against Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when he's had two weeks to prepare for one opponent.
