In the NFL, it usually pays to have good cornerbacks, or at least a lot of quality cornerback depth. That's why you see teams spend draft picks at the CB spot nearly every year.
However, in this cap-strapped 2021 offseason, teams have had to release some quality cornerbacks. Meanwhile, some restricted free agents could become the apple of the eyes of teams with cap space to burn.
