With his Pro Bowl appearance and Griddy dance in the rearview mirror, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is officially onto the offseason.
Earlier this week, Jones had said one of his goals headed into his second year in the NFL was an all too relatable one for an average citizen: Cutting back on his ice cream intake.
On the latest episode of the Next Pats Podcast with Phil Perry, Jones provided an update on how his offseason training has been going, including an answer to the all-important diet question.

"I've had a little time off, I've been working around here whether it be with my diet or with different people," Jones said. "I'm always trying to work no matter what. Take a little time off and I'm ready to roll. I'm excited to get to work and that's one of the things I want to improve on, I've been working on it."
Asked by Perry what his top priority would be this offseason, whether it be improving his diet or arm strength, Jones said that it's important to prioritize everything he's trying to improve upon.

"I have categories and all that, but I think the most important thing is just prioritize each one and trying not to prioritize one over the other," he said. "Learn as much as you can from people who've done it. Just be a sponge; whatever I can learn or can take away from somebody, I'm going to and I'm going to apply it to my game how it applies for me."
Jones added that he'll primarily be around New England in the offseason to train, but that he'll travel elsewhere to work with other people, too.
