Must-watch: Belichick mic'd up on sidelines

Share

It's always entertaining when players and coaches are mic'd up on the field.

It gives fans a look outside of the usual media appearances at how these professionals handle their business on the field.

It's certainly no different for Bill Belichick, who was mic'd up during the Patriots' much-anticipated Sunday Night Football bout against the Packers.

This four-minute video from the NFL has some gems, including Belichick arguing with officials on several accounts and coaching his defensive line during their most difficult assignment of the season.

The best part of the segment may be Belichick asking Brady "Who were you throwing to?" on his touchdown toss to Josh Gordon, which was almost derailed by a leaping Julian Edelman. Belichick's exchange with Rodgers at the end of the game is also noteworthy.

No one can get anything out of Belichick during his mandated media time, so an insight like this into how he operates in a game is both rare and interesting to see.
