FOXBORO -- Mohamed Sanu is ready to bring life to a New England Patriots offense that hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders so far this season.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady knows exactly what the ex-Falcons wideout brings to the table. The two faced off in Super Bowl 51, and Brady noted on Friday he's "familiar with every player in the league, especially at receiver."
Sanu has only been with the team for three days, but Brady already loves what he's seen out of his new weapon.
"I think it's his willingness to embrace this opportunity," Brady said of Sanu. "He brings a lot of juice, so it's good to have, you know? It's good to see someone that's competitive."
The plan is for Sanu to suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Cleveland Browns, so the 30-year-old's focus right now is on getting on the same wavelength with his new quarterback.
"It's been great," Sanu said on Friday. "We've been spending a lot of time together when we got free time, and we just get on the same page. Seeing things how he sees things and making sure when he sees this, then we're seeing the same thing. It's coming along well."

As for what he'll bring to the Patriots offense, Sanu one-upped Brady's comments.
"I feel like I bring the juice and the squeeze," Sanu quipped.
What does that mean?
"You just gotta see," he said. "It's not something you explain, you either got it or you don't."
There's no doubt Sanu provides a major boost to a Patriots offense that has seen its fair share of turnover at the wide receiver position this year. He enjoyed his best season as a pro in 2018 with Atlanta, racking up 66 catches for 838 yards and four touchdowns as the No. 3 option behind Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley.
We'll all just have to wait until Sunday to find out what "the juice and the squeeze" consists of. If it's anything like what Sanu has shown throughout his eight-year career, Pats fans are in for a treat.
