The Chicago Bears did the normal, classy thing at the end of Monday night's blowout win over the New England Patriots.
Instead of embarrassing the Patriots further, the Bears chose to take a knee inside the 5-yard line in the final seconds of the game and finish off a 33-14 victory.
One NFL legend wasn't a fan of the decision.

Peyton Manning had harsh criticism for Patriots' handling of Mac Jones
Peyton Manning wanted to see the Bears try for another touchdown and hang 40 on the Patriots.
"Do not take a knee," Manning said during ESPN2's "ManningCast" broadcast of the game.
He added: "I think if you have a chance to score 40 in Foxboro, you score 40 in Foxboro."
The Hall of Fame quarterback didn't appear to be joking or speaking in a sarcastic tone. In fairness to Manning, the Patriots have run up the score on opponents plenty of times during Bill Belichick's tenure as head coach, most notably in the 2007 season.
This Belichick quote from many years ago on running up the score is worth bringing back:
Manning scored 40-plus points at Gillette Stadium only once in his career. It was a 40-21 win in 2005 when he was a member of the Indianapolis Colts. That victory was Manning's first against Tom Brady after going 0-6 to begin their historic rivalry.
Manning also had plenty of forgettable performances in Foxboro, including the 2003 AFC Championship Game and 2004 AFC Divisional Round losses with the Colts.

If not for Brady and the Patriots, Manning probably has one or two more Super Bowl rings. Even in retirement, his rivalry with the Patriots is very much alive.
