Mac Jones' goals for the offseason are just like many of our New Year's Resolutions.

“I think this offseason will be a big part of it, just getting stronger and cleaning up on my diet and all that,” Jones said. “There’s a lot that’s going to go into it before next season even starts, so that’s the important part: attacking that, and then hopefully a lot of big changes will come, whether it’s mechanics or the playbook. I have a lot of time now to kind of digest everything and kind of take it over how I want to do it.”
Asked which part of his diet he'll need to clean up most, Jones gave a relatable answer.
“I like ice cream too much, like a lot of people,” he said. “But just limit it and then try to eat healthy, like we do with the Patriots. Every day, they give us great food, so I’ve just got to talk to Ted, our nutritionist, and make sure we’re on the same page.”
Despite admitedly overindulging in ice cream, Jones enjoyed a solid rookie campaign with the Patriots. The 15th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft completed 67.6% of his passes for 3,801 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
Jones was named to the 2022 Pro Bowl as a replacement for injured Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.
