Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson is already one of the most impressive rushing quarterbacks of his era, and now he's breaking NFL records.
The reigning league MVP needed 33 rushing yards in Monday night's Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs to break the record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in his first three seasons. He tallied the required yardage in the first quarter.

Perry: Don't hold your breath on a Cam Newton extension
Here's an updated look at the leaderboard:
1. Lamar Jackson: 2,035
New England Patriots
2. Cam Newton: 2,032
3. Russell Wilson: 1,877
4. Robert Griffin III: 1,480
One of the challenges for Jackson going forward is having the same longevity as Wilson and Newton, who have consistently ranked among the top tier of quarterbacks for nearly a decade.
Curran: Pats didn't need Cam to be a hero vs. Raiders
Newton passed Randall Cunningham to move into second place for the most career rushing yards (4,955) by a quarterback in the Patriots' win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Michael Vick holds the record with 6,109 rushing yards.
It wouldn't be surprising, at this rate, if Jackson finds himself in the first or second spot on that list before his career is over.
