Even after winning a couple Super Bowls, Kyle Van Noy still can go unrecognized in a crowd.
The New England Patriots linebacker was minding his own business on the ESPYs red carpet Wednesday night in Los Angeles when he unwittingly wandered into a photo with prominent ESPN reporters/analysts Ramona Shelburne, Jackie MacMullan and Michelle Beadle.
So, Shelburne called out the photobomb on Twitter, but little did she know...
In Shelburne's defense, all three women are NBA reporters, and Van Noy isn't exactly a household name outside New England.
But that didn't stop Patriots fans from informing Shelburne just who that "dude in the blue jacket" was.
Fortunately, both Van Noy and Shelburne were good sports about the whole situation.
When he wasn't sneaking into random photos, Van Noy yukked it up with Patriots teammates Deatrich Wise Jr., Stephon Gilmore, David Andrews and retired tight end Rob Gronkowski, although the defending Super Bowl champs lost out on the "Best Team" ESPY to the U.S. women's national soccer team.
