It's shaping up to be a good weekend for Boston sports, and Julian Edelman was excited with the way the Boston Bruins kicked off their 2019-20 campaign.
The New England Patriots wide receiver posted a photo to Instagram with the caption "Way to get the weekend started @nhlbruins #BsWin ."

The B's opened up their season with a 2-1 win over the Dallas Stars Thursday night thanks to goals by Brett Ritchie and Danton Heinen. Boston will be back in action again Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET against the Arizona Coyotes before facing the Vega Golden Knights on Tuesday.
As for the Patriots, they'll look to stay perfect as they take on the struggling Washington Redskins Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on the road.
