Julian Edelman shows support for Pittsburgh, Jewish community, after win

After Sunday night's win over the Packers in prime time at Gillette Stadium, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was seen in the locker room wearing a baseball cap worn by the Israeli team in the World Baseball Classic.

"I just want to let the people in Pittsburgh know that I’m thinking about them," Edelman told ESPN's Mike Reiss. "Sending good vibes, and good prayers. That was a bit hit to the community, and it was uncalled for. Just let them know, hey, I’m behind you and I’m supporting."

Edelman, who is of Jewish heritage, took to Twitter following last week's shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh that killed 11 people, saying, "My heart is broken for the families in Pittsburgh. It’s hard to even imagine such senselessness. As a Jew, an American and a human, I’m devastated. We are with you, Pittsburgh."
