Julian Edelman perfectly plays Tom Brady's hype man in amazing Patriots-Chiefs video

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has a special relationship with wide receiver Julian Edelman, and that was evident in Sunday's AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brady has a lot of trust in Edelman, particularly in high-pressure situations, and the duo connected on seven passes for 96 yards, including a couple clutch third-down conversions late in the fourth quarter and during overtime.

Edelman also served as Brady's hype man earlier in the game when the 41-year-old quarterback found wide receiver Phillip Dorsett for a 29-yard touchdown to increase New England's lead to 14-0 at halftime. Check out the passionate exchange in the "Inside the NFL" video below.

This is just another example of the Patriots using outside criticism as extra motivation during this remarkable playoff run. One of the common criticisms of Brady is that he's too old and not as talented as he used to be, and Edelman certainly tapped into that to fire up his teammate.

The Patriots will play the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII in two weeks, and if previous Super Bowls are any indication, the Brady-Edelman combo will play a pivotal factor in the outcome of the game.
