Julian Edelman channels old Hollywood to celebrate win over Redskins

The TB Times? That's so last year.

Tom Brady (or his social media team) came up with some pretty creative ways to celebrate Patriots wins on Twitter and Instagram last season, but Julian Edelman has taken over in 2019.

Edelman followed up a great post of "Buffalo Bill" Belichick last week by channeling the classic 1939 film "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" this Sunday.

The social media post was a hit, as was his performance on the field. Edelman had a game-high eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins.

He's now tied with Irving Fryar for fifth place on the franchise's all-time receiving yards list, with 5,726. Next up is Troy Brown, who had 6.366 yards in his Patriots career.
