Jonathan Kraft takes shot at ‘less-than-disciplined' Rex Ryan

FOXBORO -- Patriots president Jonathan Kraft seemed to be not all that shocked that Bills safety Robert Blanton sought out Jacoby Brissett during warmups and gave him a bump.

Why? That sounds like something Bills coach Rex Ryan would be OK with.

"That gets back to Rex," Kraft told 98.5 The Sports Hub. "I think if you are less than disciplined in your personal approach, your team will take on the attitude of the coach . . . My guess is Rex probably loves that. That's why Rex is Rex. And that's why Bill [Belichick] is Bill."

* Kraft was also asked about the decline in the NFL's declining television ratings for prime-time games. He indicated it was too early in the season to make any drastic changes to how the NFL distributes its games, but he did admit it's something they're keeping an eye on, and if after a full season there is an obvious trend, they would not wait to adapt.

* Kraft indicated before the game that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo wanted to play because he's a competitor. But his shoulder injury simply wouldn't allow for it.
