James White's 27-yard touchdown run increases Patriots' lead vs. Bills

FOXBORO -- James White's lack of involvement in the New England Patriots' offense has been a point of criticism over the last two weeks, but the veteran running back made an early impression on Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

White put the Patriots up 14-0 in the second quarter after a 27-yard touchdown run. Check out the play in the video below.

White's touchdown happened soon after the Patriots got the ball back in good field position as a result of a J.C. Jackson interception.

The desire to get White more touches stems from the fact the Patriots tend to play very well when he's a focal point of the offense, as the stat below explains.

A win for the Patriots on Sunday would clinch their 10th consecutive AFC East title.
