Is Tom Brady leaving Twitter after ruthless roast of Darren Rovell?

Tom Brady, in the midst of a prolifically long playing career, may have just ended his prolifically short Twitter career.

The New England Patriots quarterback joined the social media platform just over a week ago with an April Fools' Day retirement joke that fooled, well, nobody.

But on Tuesday, Brady appeared to announce his departure from Twitter ... by absolutely roasting The Action Network's Darren Rovell.

Rovell thought it would be wise to tweet out a three-minute video of himself dancing to "One Shining Moment" ahead of Monday night's NCAA title game. Apparently the clip was so painstaking that it drove Brady to get off Twitter entirely.

If this really was Brady's last Twitter hurrah, he left behind quite the legacy: 15 tweets in nine days -- including an encouraging message for Ryan Shazier and a humorous exchange with Aqib Talib -- and roughly 378,000 followers, which averages to 42,000 followers per day.

If you're still looking for your Brady social media fix, the 41-year-old QB has you covered, as he's posted three times on Instagram over the last two days.
