When Rob Gronkowski wasn't on the field this week at the Patriots manadatory minicamp, it led to speculation that Gronk was skipping the sessions because the tight end was unhappy with his contract.
Gronkowski dispelled that notion Saturday while speaking to reporters at his youth football camp. He said he is "on the same page" as the team and even used the phrase, "I'm doing other things," which is exactlly what Bill Belichick had said this week when asked about Gronk's - and others' - absence from the field.
Patriots training camp begins at the end of July and Gronkowski said he'll be ready.
“I’m doing other things, participating fully with what the coaches have me doing,” Gronkowski said. “So we’re all good. We’re all on the same page.”
