It was only a matter of time. Rob Gronkowski already has a Twitter profile, and his Facebook page sees regular updates. Now he's ventured into the world of Instagram.
The public relations firm DKC announced on Tuesday that the Patriots tight end had made his first-ever post to Instagram tracking his offseason moves. In the one-minute Instagram video, Gronkowski slides down a slide made for small children ("I'm coming to Instagram! Wee!" he screams as he slides down), he works out at Unbreakable Performance Center in Los Angeles, he gets his haircut, and of course, he hits a club donning a Monster Energy t-shirt and chains.
Instagram rolled out its 60-second video feature for verified accounts on Tuesday, and according to DKC, Gronkowski is the first athlete to use it. Instagram also has a new multi-clip editing feature that began on Tuesday, which is available to all users.
Gronkowski can now add social-media trend-setter to his list of titles that includes Super Bowl champion, All-Pro tight end, thespian and party-cruise enthusiast.
