Gronk on the country's racial tensions: ‘Evil will always destroy itself'

After the violence in Charlottesville, and the subsequent demonstration last Saturday in Boston, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was asked about racial tensions that the US is facing in a two-minute interview for's MooseTV YouTube channel:

"I feel like evil will always destroy itself," Gronkowski said. "In sports, a team is surrounded with people with different backgrounds, with different races and different religions. In order for a team to win, everyone comes together. I feel like that's what the USA represents. Everyone just needs to come together in order to win. Just like sports teams, I always relate sports to real-life situations...If everyone is on the same page, it don't matter what race, what background, what religion you are, if everyone just comes together like a good, solid football team, a baseball team, that's how you win games."
