Former Patriots star Rob Ninkovich to join ESPN as NFL Analyst

Yet another former Patriots star is joining the national sports media landscape.

Ex-defensive end Rob Ninkovich will serve as an NFL analyst at ESPN, per the network. Ninkovich developed his media chops at NBC Sports Boston on pre-and-postgame shows as well as Monday Night Patriots with Phil Perry.

Ninkovich played 11 seasons in the NFL, eight of which came in New England. He won two Super Bowls with the Pats. Now, he'll join ex-Patriots Randy Moss, Tedy Bruschi, and Damien Woody at the Worldwide Leader. Rodney Harrison, Willie McGinest, Ted Johnson, Christian Fauria, and Scott Zolak are some of the many other former Patriots stars in the media.

"Rob (Ninkovich) will excel as an analyst for the same reasons he excelled as a player: he's smart and he puts in the work," ESPN vice president Seth Markman said.
