Felger: Who deserves most criticism in Pats loss?

Following the Patriots' 33-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Postgame Live crew was critical of the team's performance in the second half.

In ‘Necessary roughness,’ the panel had to pick a specific facet of Sunday's game they would like to rough up.

Troy Brown didn't like what he saw in the first regular season game of the post-Mankins era.

"They couldn't match up with anybody on that Miami Dolphins defensive line," said Brown. "They were overpowered in the run game, overpowered in the passing game, way too much pressure on Tom Brady and the passing game."

Former Patriots center Dan Koppen decided he would pick on the running game.

"20 attempts, 89 yards, 10 of it came in garbage time at the end," explained Koppen. "You can't win football games with this team being one-dimensional."

The Patriots pass rush struggled to put pressure on throughout the day. Michael Felger was unimpressed.

"We thought it was going to be improved, thought it was going to be a factor this year. It was nonexistent," said Felger. "They did get one sack today… Otherwise, only two hits on the quarterback.  Tannehill had way, way, way too much time to throw."

Jerry Thornton agreed with Felger, he expected much more pressure against the Dolphins' unproven offensive line.

"This is five new offensive line starters for Miami," said Thornton. "Ryan Tannehill got sacked 58 times last year… I don't think he even had to throw is uniform in the laundry hamper after this one."
