Surprise, surprise. It's Lamar Jackson at the top of the pack again, followed by the usual group of elite dual-threat QBs. And after another impressive outing in Week 2, Patriots signal-caller Cam Newton becomes a top option.

Following two cupcake matchups, Josh Allen has a tough one this week vs. the Rams defense. Matt Ryan and Deshaun Watson will have their work cut out for them as well. You're probably still starting them, but don't expect them to put up huge numbers in these difficult matchups.

Last week we saw the consensus top two RBs (Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley) go down with injuries. McCaffrey will miss at least the next three weeks, and Barkley is out for the season.

If you were able to snag McCaffrey's handcuff, Mike Davis, you're in decent shape as he is slated to get most of the work in the backfield until the Panthers star returns. I'm avoiding the Giants backfield like the plague, as that situation is far too murky for my liking.

I have Alvin Kamara and Ezekiel Elliott as my top two RBs, but don't be surprised if Colts rookie Jonathan Taylor takes over. His talent was on display in Week 2, and I think we're in for an even bigger performance vs. this Jets defense.

1. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (vs. GB)

Keep an eye on Davante Adams' status heading into Sunday's game as he hasn't practiced this week due to a hamstring injury. He's an elite option if active, but his situation is worth monitoring. Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are the Packers WRs who will get the most work if Adams is out.

Calvin Ridley has suddenly become the most fantasy-relevant wideout in Atlanta. Julio Jones will heat up eventually, but Ridley is the Falcons WR I'm most excited to start for the time being.

Julian Edelman sneaks into the top 24 after a sensational week vs. the Seahawks. The Patriots veteran should see plenty of work against the Raiders.

George Kittle's status for the 49ers' Week 3 matchup vs. the Giants is up in the air, so hopefully you have a solid backup just in case he misses his second straight game. You can throw Kittle into the top 5 on this list if he's active.

Darren Waller presents a major challenge for the Patriots defense, and Bill Belichick is well-aware of Waller's elite talent. Tyler Higbee is another top option, even against a tough Bills defense, following his three-touchdown performance.

Dolphins TE Mike Gesicki finds himself in the top 12 after having himself a nice week vs. the Bills.

The Steelers are an elite D/ST unit this season, so it's no surprise to find them at the top of the list with a matchup vs. Houston.

Tom Brady and the Bucs get a favorable matchup vs. a depleted Broncos team. Tampa Bay's defense should feast on a Denver offense that lacks QB Drew Lock, WR Courtland Sutton, and RB Phillip Lindsay.
