It doesn't seem like Bill Belichick has forgotten about the shots Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson fired at the Patriots following Super Bowl 52.
After the Eagles defeated the Patriots to win their first Super Bowl title, Johnson called the Patriots a "fear-based organization" and claimed players don't have fun playing in New England.
On Sunday, the Patriots took down the Eagles 17-10 in their Week 11 matchup. During his postgame press conference, Belichick may have thrown some subtle shade at Johnson.
"They just did a good job. Looked like they all had fun out there today," Belichick said following the victory.
Note the usage of "fun" in that quote. If that wasn't meant to be a shot at Johnson, it was an awfully funny coincidence.
Johnson's not-so-fun day came to an abrupt end in the second quarter as he was forced to leave the game with a head injury.
Next up for Belichick and the Patriots are the Cowboys, who they'll host on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
