Cowboys QB Dak Prescott speaks highly of ‘mind-blowing' Tom Brady: ‘He's the GOAT'

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots for the first time in his career Sunday afternoon, and he's very excited about it.

The 26-year-old is playing the best football of his four-year career, leading the Cowboys (6-4) to first place in the NFC East. While he's in the midst of a stellar season, Prescott spoke very highly of Brady on Thursday.

“People say ‘The GOAT, he’s the GOAT.’ He is,” Prescott said, according to dallascowboys.com. “I don’t think it’s comparable, the things that he’s done.”

Brady's longevity is something that continuously comes up in discussion among quarterbacks around the NFL, and Prescott said he couldn't imagine continuing to play at 42.

“How many years is this for him? 20th?” Prescott said. “It’s mind-blowing. Crazy impressive.”

Prescott added that Brady is the "epitome" of growing and continuing to get "better and sharper" over the years and that he's a great example for every young player coming into the league.

While Prescott can learn a thing or two from Brady, the QB already is doing pretty good himself. He leads the NFL in passing with 3,221 yards and yards per game with 322.1, while also being tied for second in touchdowns with 21.

Prescott noted he isn't worried about a "me vs. him [Brady]" type of deal, and said he's more than ready to compete Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
