Danny Shelton hasn’t been a Patriot for long, so New England fans may not know much about their new 330-pound behemoth.

But as The Camera Guys found out, there’s a lot more to the defensive lineman than his football prowess.

In an interview at practice on Tuesday night, Shelton touched on his relationship with his service dog and the importance of professional athletes being willing to seek out help if they need it.

In 2011, Shelton's brother, Shennon, was shot and killed in an altercation in Auburn, Washington.

Shelton, 24, was a first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2015 and was acquired from Cleveland, along with a fifth-round pick, for a third-round pick in March.
