NFL Network's ALbert Breer joined SportsNet Central to break down his takeaways from the New England Patriots' 17-16 win over the Carolina Panthers, but he said it's "hard to take away anything" from the offensive side of the ball.
"Based on what they've been playing without over the last few weeks - no Julian Edelman, no Rob Gronkowski, no Brandon LaFell. They're trying to work out some issues in the middle of the offensive line and obviously seeing what they can do with the rookies, Tre Jackson and Shaq Mason," said Breer. "It's hard to get any sort of read on what they're going to be offensively based on what we've seen through the first three preseason games. And we don't even know who the starting quarterback is going to be in the opener."
