FOXBORO -- Tom Brady is a member of his fair share of exclusive NFL clubs. He is one of three quarterbacks to have four Super Bowl championships. He's one of two to have thrown 50 touchdown passes in a season. On Sunday, he joined the 400 club.
With 18 seconds left in the first half of New England's game with Jacksonville on Sunday, Brady threw his 400th touchdown pass, becoming just the fourth quarterback in NFL history to reach that mark. It was a one-yard toss to receiver Danny Amendola to make the score 20-3 in favor of the Patriots.
The only other signal-callers to reach 400 touchdown passes are Peyton Manning (533), Brett Favre (508) and Dan Marino (420).
Brady later threw his 401st touchdown with just over three minutes remaining in the third quarter when he hit Keshawn Martin for a 13-yard score to give the Patriots a 37-10 advantage.
