Running back Dion Lewis continues to make an big impact for the New England Patriots offense after being an unknown commodity coming into the season.
On Sports Sunday, Tom E. Curran and Ron Borges agree that Lewis' ability to grasp the complex Patriots playbook has been a key to his success.
"He's clearly a smart player," said Borges. "He was out of football, could've stayed out of football and been doing what he was doing. He got a chance… To come here you've got to be a smart player and you have to learn very quickly, which obviously he does.
"When you play here, the more you do they more chances they give you. He grabbed those chances right off the bat. Had he not, who knows what would've happened. That guy's a good little football player."
