The Chicago Bears added insult to injury after Monday night's blowout win over the New England Patriots.
Before the Week 7 matchup, Bears defensive tackle Justin Jones gave the Patriots bulletin board material with a reference to to the 2015 Deflategate scandal. Jones said "deflated balls" was the first thing that came to mind when he thought of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, then went on to say he would "check the footballs" before the game and that he "heard it's still going on."

Following Chicago's 33-14 victory, Jones took to Twitter with a victory lap.
"Post game analysis: Balls were inflated to the fullest. Result = 3 INTS," he wrote.
Jones backed up his trash talk with two tackles, two pass deflections, and a fumble recovery at Gillette Stadium.
Those remarks won't sit well with Pats fans, but New England has bigger fish to fry ahead of its Week 8 meeting with the New York Jets. The Mac Jones vs. Bailey Zappe quarterback controversy has turned into a catastrophe as a result of Monday's events.
