The 2020 NFL schedule will be released Thursday night, and one of the most famous dogs in New England might be part of the show.
Bill Belichick's dog, Nike, became a huge hit when he was shown occupying the Patriots head coach's chair during ESPN's broadcast of the 2020 NFL Draft last month. NFL Network actually requested an appearance from Nike for the channel's schedule show Thursday.
“Yes, we made a request for the dog,” NFL Media Senior VP/Programming & Production Mark Quenzel told Sports Business Journal. “We don’t know if we’re going to get the dog. That may be the most popular segment. The dog may be the star of the whole darn show.”
