The word desperate has been thrown around since the Patriots dealt a fourth-round pick to the Buccaneers for Aliq Talib. Mike Felger doesn't believe the Patriots are desperate. He believes the right word to describe the trade is 'urgent.'
"Urgent, urgent move." says Felger. "That's what you do when your quarterback is thirty-five and you only have a few more kicks at the can. You show some urgency. You plug holes, you give up a draft pick or two to try and win it that year because you don't know how many more of these you are going to get."
"Don't get nutty about a fourth-round pick, it's not that big a deal."
