Roger Clemens attempting comeback

Roger Clemens will pitch again.

The embattled former Yankee ace has announced his intention to make a comeback in baseball via his agent, Randy Hendrick.

Fresh off beating a perjury charge stemming from allegations that he lied to congress regarding steroid use, Clemens has signed a contract with the Sugar Land Skeeters, a Texas based team of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

Clemens, who allegedly hit 87 mph on the radar gun at his Skeeters tryout, will make his club debut on Saturday night.

It will mark the first time the 50-year-old has pitched since the 2007 American League Division Series when he went just two and a third innings in a no decision for the Yankees.
