A BIG ZERO
The Patriots were shut out for the first time in nearly 10 years. Their last shutout loss, a 21-0 defeat in Miami, came on Dec. 10, 2006.

A BIGGER ZERO
The Patriots were shut out at home for the first time in nearly 23 years. Their last home shutout loss, 6-0 to the Jets in heavy rain and winds, came on Nov. 28, 1993 at the old Foxboro Stadium. Bill Parcells was New England's coach at the time.

HERE AND THERE
-- Martellus Bennett's 58-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter was the longest reception of his career.

-- Bennett caught 5 passes for 109 yards, his second 100-yard receiving game of the season.

-- Rob Gronkowski's 11-yard reception in the fourth quarter gave him 5,566 receiving yards, the 20th-best total among tight ends in NFL history.
