The 2019 NHL All-Star Weekend kicks off Friday night at San Jose's SAP Center with the Skills Competition. What skills, you ask?
Events include the Fastest Skater, Premier Passer, Save Streak, Puck Control, Hardest Shot and Accuracy Shooting contests, in which players on the four All-Star rosters -- the Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central and Pacific Divisions -- will show off their chops.
David Pastrnak is the Boston Bruins' lone representative at this year's All-Star Weekend, but the 22-year-old Czech Republic native could fare quite well in the Puck Control and Accuracy Shooting events.
