INDIANAPOLIS -- Matt Light has been a Patriot for 11 years, which makes him well-versed on speaking without actually saying anything. But at least he has a fantastic sense of humor. When Light danced around questions regarding his health on Wednesday, he was entertaining.
"The question is," Light quipped, "how are you guys feeling?"
Not really.

As Tom Brady's left-hand man and blindside protector, an illness keeping Light from Monday's practice and media session, as well as Tuesday's sideshow act, is an item of interest. He looked to be in good health on Wednesday and said as much.
"I'm excited about practice today. We've got a good game plan in here," he said, tapping a finger on his blue playbook.
"And I tell you what. I feel horrible about missing media day. I do," he deadpanned. "I love spending time with you guys. The opportunity to be around so many of you in such a wonderful setting it was very disheartening for this guy. But I'm pulling through. I'm going to make it."
Light, capped by flip flops and a winter hat, held on to a cup of black coffee while he spoke. Considering the lack of information he volunteered, appearances would have to suffice. Even the classic effort of, 'would you say you're day-to-day?' fell flat.
"I'm just today. Just today," he said. "That's all I care about."
