Kyrie Irving (eye) out, Marcus Morris (neck) questionable for Celtics' game vs. Mavericks

BOSTON -- Being short-handed remains a way of life for the Celtics.

Kyrie Irving will miss a second straight game due to eye inflammation and won't play Friday night against Dallas. He will be replaced by Terry Rozier who has been the fill-in starter in all three games missed this season by Rozier.

There's a chance Boston might also be without Marcus Morris. He suffered a neck injury in Boston's win over Minnesota in Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Friday's game.

If Morris is out, look for Jaylen Brown or Gordon Hayward to start.

Hayward is coming off a season-high 35-point performance in Boston's win over Minnesota.
