Jon Lester was thought to be the Red Sox' ace of the staff, and that was especially the case when he was awarded the start on Opening Day. But is he still the ace? He hasn't had the stuff -- at least consistently -- to prove it. On Sunday, he looked great. Can it last?
Clay Buchholz is another name in the mix for the Sox ace. He's had some superb outings this season, and has been the Sox best pitcher as of late. Consistency is also an issue with Buchholz, though, as well as health.
