The next date on the baseball calendar is Nov. 30, the deadline to tender contracts to arbitration eligible players.

Players who are on the 40-man roster with at least three but less than six years of major league service time are eligible. Additionally, a player with at least two but less than three years of major league service is eligible as a Super Two, that is, if he has at least 86 days of service during the immediately preceding season and ranks in the top 22 in total service in that specific class of players.

If players are not tendered contracts, they become eligible for arbitration. The Sox currently have 12 players who are arbitration eligible.

Those players, and their 2012 contracts are:
Alfredo Aceves -- 1.2 million
Scott Atchison -- 510,000
Andrew Bailey -- 3.9 million
Daniel Bard -- 1.6125 million
Craig Breslow -- 1.975 million
Jacoby Ellsbury -- 8.05 million
Rich Hill -- 725,000
Andrew Miller -- 1.04 million
Franklin Morales -- 850,000
Jarrod Saltalamacchia -- 2.5 milion
Ryan Sweeney -- 1.75 million
Junichi Tazawa -- 920,000
