The Bruins leading scorer in Tyler Seguin is conspicuously absent on the NHL All-Star ballot, but otherwise the logical candidatesusual suspects showed on the ballot for this years All-Star festivities in Ottawa.
Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, Milan Lucic, Nathan Horton, David Krejci and Tim Thomas were all named to the All-Star ballot, and the Bruins tied the Ducks, Blackhawks, Flyers and Penguins for the most individual players on a ballot determined by fan voting.
Seguin leads the Bruins with eight goals and 15 points in 13 games, and has been Bostons best player in the early portion of the season.

Among the total 127 players on the ballot, Philadelphia Flyers forward Jaromir Jagr makes his first appearance to the fan voting platform since his campaign for the 2008 NHL All-Star festivities; the Ottawa Senators, the first-time hosts of the 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend, have five representatives; and the Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Flyers and Penguins each have six players vying to be named first NHL All-Stars in the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 29.
